Taking a Break From Figure Reviews

Hello, my fellow Kaiju fans!

I am currently busy preparing for my family's move to Manila this coming week. I had originally intended to do a figure review for the recent X-Plus Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Godzilla 1991 (Hokkaido Landing Ver.) however, I got a little preoccupied and before I knew it, I had to box it up along with all my other figures so that the movers could pack them up. With that said, I will be taking a hiatus from figure reviews over the next few months - I hope to begin again in mid-to-late August with a special review for the Sideshow Collectibles Godzilla Maquette. However, I may get one review in by early July while I am on vacation for the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 2000 Millennium Special Color Ver., but it all depends if I have the time.

Don't worry. Even though I won't be doing frequent reviews for the next few months, I will still be posting news updates, as well as new original articles - the next being on the topic of pet-peeves of toy collecting. I will also continue to share figure reviews from our friends at Steven's Toy Reviews, DiegoDoom on YouTube, and more.

Thanks for your patience, and happy collecting!

X-Plus Toho Large Monsters Series Godzilla 1995

Coming in late July/early August from X-Plus is Godzilla 1995 (better known as Burning Godzilla.) The figure is in the 25cm scaled Toho Large Monsters Series. The RIC Boy Exclusive includes an internal light-up feature that illuminates the burning blotches on Godzilla's body. Weeks ago we saw an unpainted prototype of a humongous Toho Large Monsters Series Destoroyah, which this figure is meant to accompany.
