Here are a couple of images of NECA's upcoming 6" tall Godzilla 1954 figure coming out sometime this summer. Frankly it's by far the best looking sculpt of NECA's Classic Godzilla Series.

Original Figure Review - NECA Classic Godzilla Series: Burning Godzilla
NECA's Classic Godzilla Series of figures has certainly received mixed reviews from fans and collectors. I for one have been more forgiving to NECA's shortcomings in regards to the sculpts of some of their figures. Today we are reviewing NECA's latest addition to the figure line, Burning Godzilla, from the 1995 film Godzilla vs Destoroyah. When this figure was first unveiled, many people were pretty bummed that it is a redeco of the original NECA Godzilla 1994 figure rather than an entirely new sculpt.
So what are our thoughts on this figure? Let us take a look at what we have...
Special Figure Re-Review - NECA 24" Head-to-Tail Godzilla
Today we are doing a first for The Kaiju Planet, a special figure re-review where we look back to one of our top favorite figures and see if our opinions on it have gone unshaken. For this special re-review we will be taking another look at the NECA 24 inch Head-to-Tail Godzilla action figure originally released back in July 2014. If you have read our original review for this figure back in September 2014, we were ecstatic by it and I called it my top favorite Godzilla (2014) action figure.
The main reason I am doing this re-review is that I bought myself another 24" HTT Godzilla figure. My original figure had some paint issues on the left eye, and it kind of got on my nerves over time. I bought my second figure from Flossie's Gifts. Go check 'em out now! They have a wide range of stuff including Godzilla, Dr. Who, Ghostbusters, Disney, and more.
Does this figure still hold up well with us? Let's take a look!
New NECA Jaeger On The Way?
NECA has teased their social media followers with an image of concept designs for an upcoming figure without specifying much. However, for those who are fans of Pacific Rim and have played the movie's video game or read the prequel comic "Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero" this particular design should ring a bell. It is the Jaeger, Brawler Yukon. A Mark-1 prototype Jaeger that battled against the Kaiju, Karloff.

Original Figure Review - X-Plus Toho Large Monsters Series Godzilla 1968
In the wake of the much anticipated X-Plus Toho Large Monsters Series King Ghidorah 1968, X-Plus began re-releasing a lot of their "Destroy All Monsters" figure lineup exclusively through their website at the start of 2015. The first re-release was the X-Plus Toho Large Monsters Series Godzilla 1968 at the end of January. Being an online exclusive, it came with a figure of Minya, the son of Godzilla.
We reviewed the standard version of this figure way back when it was first released in 2012. Does this rerelease still have the same charm as the original? Let's find out!

Original Figure Review - S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (2014) Poster Image Ver.
It was only last September when Bandai released the original S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (2014) action figure in commemoration of the monster's 60th anniversary. Granted, it was not the most accurate representation of the design but it was not an absolute terrible figure. At the Tamashii Nations 2014 event last Fall, Bandai unveiled two more variants of the same sculpt. The first was the Poster Image Version, which we'll be reviewing today, and the Spit Fire Version, which will be released this July in Japan, and August in North America.
The Poster Image figure is the more limited between the two, only being packed in limited quantities of the Amazon Japan Exclusive Godzilla Deluxe BluRay Set. I was able to acquire the set and the accompanying figure. Does it live up to the flashy prototype?

Original Figure Review - NECA Pacific Rim 7" Figure Series Ultra Deluxe Otachi
For a while many collectors felt as if NECA would never get to make Otachi, one of the Category 4 Kaiju that attacked Hong Kong in Guillermo Del Toro's 2013 film, Pacific Rim. However given that their Pacific Rim figures have been selling well, it was not that surprising that Otachi would ultimately be made. It was originally unveiled at last year's San Diego Comic-Con, and was officially released towards the end of February of this year.
There was much excitement for this figure. Does Otachi live up to the hype? Let us see!
